My name is Tammy Civello and welcome to Cards By TLC. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wonderful husband Jim. We are die hard Bay Area sports fans. We love our San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Warriors, and San Jose Sharks.
My love and passion from being creative came from my beautiful mother, Diane. She had a way of just looking at something and be able to re-create it with no effort at all. From quilting, sewing and crafting she made everything look effortless. I unfortunately did not get the sewing gene AT ALL!!!! I wanted so badly to be able to fall in love with some sort of craft.
In 2004, I was introduced to Stampin’ Up! by a co-worker holding a monthly stamp class in her home. She introduced me to a whole world of greatness. From the inks matching the cardstock, to the magic of heat embossing, I was sold!!!
In the Fall of 2014, I decided what was once a hobby quickly became an amazing business opportunity for my family. At this point in time I was a full time caregiver to my ailing mother and needed an outlet for not only myself, but to help her with her Alzheimer’s. I saw the incredible joy it brought us as something to do together and keep her mind going. In the late Fall of 2016 we lost her and from that point on I felt the desire to keep her memory alive by doing something we did together.
It brings me an indescribable amount of joy to create and send out handcrafted cards to family and friends by bringing the Tender Loving Care (TLC) into their lives. I truly enjoy sharing my creations with you. Creativity is contagious and it is my hope to inspire you and bring a little TLC into your life.
