Easter Promise Simple Stamping Card

Today’s Project I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Easter Promise set.  I decided to use the simple stamping technique to create something simple and basic for my friends to be able to do at home with their kids.  I love that this is a great Easter set with beautiful fonts, inside/outside sentiments, and floral/cross images. It’s a great set to add to your stash for its’ simplicity.

Easter Promise is the perfect Easter set for keeping things simple. By having the perfect sentiments for both the inside/outside of the card as well as lovely flowers to be able to color.

I stamped both the sentiment and the images in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I quickly shaded in the sentiment with Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.  When coloring the flowers, I used both Dark and Light Highland Heather. For stems using Light Granny Apple Green. And the cross using Dark Daffodil Delight.  If you love to color and and blend while you are coloring, our Stampin Blends are the perfect way to go!!

I Miss Your Face

While many of us can’t be together with all of our loved ones, I decided to send out some love in the mail today to my family and friends.  I have found that it has really helped me get through these long days of the shelter-in-place situation.  This sentiment pretty much sums up how we are all feeling, don’t you think?

I created these cards with the Tags in Bloom Stamp Set from the 2nd release in the Sale-A-Bration catalog that sadly ends tomorrow March 31, 2020.  I also used the Painted Labels Dies (151605) along with the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (151324).

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Card Base Color of your choice to compliment Paper:  (Pictured above: Thick Whisper White, Hightland Heather, Granny Apple Greetn)    –  4 1/4 x 11 folded or scored at 5 1/2 per
  • Designer Series Paper of your choice – 4 x 5 1/4

If you have a question or a comment about today’s Project I would love to hear from you.  Just leave me a comment down below.  Stay tuned for my next projects where I will be showing my latest Easter Project.

Sympathy Thank You

Not very often are there cards out there for a sympathy thank you. You have “thank you”, “thank you for your kindness” etc. So I was super excited to see that Stampin Up made a specific stamp set just for this occasion.

Kindness and Compassion is the perfect stamp set for just this. Although, I wish it was for something uplifting, however unfortunately there is a need for them. When I bought this stamp set, I had one of my dear friend’s family in mind, but sadly 6 weeks later our own family needed this when my brother passed away from cancer. I wanted to create a special card for all the amazing out pour of sympathy we received.

The stripe down the middle in Seaside Spray is from Woven Heirlooms another beautiful stamp set with beautiful sentiments.

Below is the card I created using one of my favorite designer series paper Woven Thread, in my new favorite 2019-2020 In Color Seaside Spray. The ribbon is one of my new favorites Scalloped Woven Ribbon in Seaside Spray as well. The new Stitched Nested Labels are the perfect addition for your sentiment and finishing it off with your rhinestones.

Below please find all the products used for this project.
