I am excited to make these cute Elephant Parade Cards today. We are playing with the Elephant Parade Bundle from the Annual Catalog. When I saw this bundle I wanted to create 3 different styles of cards using some basic layouts.

2nd Largest Scallop from the Layering Circle Dies in Mint Macaron
3rd Largest Standard from Layering Circle Dies in Basic White
To Cut out my Shrubs from the Elephant Parade Bundle I used the Hughes of Happiness Designer Paper
Using the A La Mode Alphabet Dies I cut out Baby in Basic White. TIP YOU WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO USE THE SELF ADHESIVE SHEETS
Finishing Up with Basic Jewel Rhinestones
BLEND COLORS: Smokey Slate Combo and Light Flirty Flamingo
This card makes the perfect Baby Card for either Gender.
CARD 2
Card Base in Poppy Parade 4 1/4″ x 11″ Folded at 5 1/2″
2 Basic White Layers 4″ x 5 1/4″ one for the inside
Using a Blending Brush, Blend the top part of your Layer in Balmy Blue
Letters Cut out in Poppy Parade
Blend Colors: Smokey Slate and Light Flirty Flamingo for Elephant and Mouse. Tahitian Tide for Butterfly, Poppy Parade for Balloon with the Color Lifter. Dark Granny Apple Green and Light Parakeet Party for the Lettuce Leaf
I had fun tilting the S on Friends. Again, you will want to use Adhesive Sheets for the Letters
CARD 3
Card Base in Basic Gray 4 1/4″ x 11″ folded at 5 1/2″
2 Basic White Layers 4″ x 51/4″
1 Basic White Layer is cut out with the Picture This Dies while the older Basic White Layer is for the inside of the card
Hues of Happiness DSP Layer 4″x 5 1/4″ to layer under the Picture this Layer
Blend Colors: Smokey Slate and Light Flirty Flamingo for Elephants and Mouse. Tahitian Tide for Balloon and Butterfly, Light Soft Suade for the Peanuts, Poppy Parade and Parakeet Party for the Flower
Finished off with Glossy Dots

Simple Stamping Struggles. Do you struggle with Simple Stamping Like Me? Who can remember when they first started stamping or making cards? Was it a bit overwhelming Right? Where do you start? Although you may want to buy everything right away, more often our budgets don’t allow for that.

This amazing Paper is part of the Fancy Flora Suite Collection and is paired with the Something Fancy Bundle. This Bundle has some amazing sentiments with coordinating Dies. For these projects, I wanted to use the cut little topper that adds a fun little something extra for your labels.

Back in November at our Onstage Event, they showed a new and magical way of using our Watercolor Pencils and a Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter Marker. We do also have Stampin’ Blends, but I found that the Color Lifter is a smoother process and does not pill up like the Stampin’ Blends sometimes does.
