Card Details:
- Card Base: Magenta Madness (New 2020-2022 In-Color) cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ and fold the card in half.
- Layer 1: Magenta Madness Polka Dot DSP (New 2020-2022 In-Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper) cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Top Layer: Whisper White cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″. Using your Tuxedo Black Momento Ink Pad and the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set, stamp your jar image and sunflower image.
- Take the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and stamp Thanks A Bunch sentiment above the Sunflower Image.
- Using Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad, stamp your stems on top of the jar image.
- Now it is time to color!! Using the Stampin’ Blends Maker in Dark Pool Party, color your water in the jar. I colored a little over half-way, but you can color all the way to top if you choose to do so. When coloring the Sunflower Image I used Dark Mango Melody for the petals, Dark Soft Suade for the center of the flower, and Dark Granny Apple Green for the leaves.
- Lastly, Using the thin Silver and Misty Moonlight Bakers Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack, tie a bow. Use a Mini Glue Dot to add to the front of the jar.

One of my favorite projects was used with the Everything is Rosey Designer Series Paper.
This was such a super fun technique. Be sure to stop on by later this week and learn how to use up all those scraps. I learned this technique from a fellow stamper’s husband. That’s right, men do love to show their creativity as well.
Also, there are so many cute Embossing Folders on the rack as well!!! This is such a fun way to add some dimension to your projects. One of my favorites is the Scattered Sequins Folder.
It’s easy to make a great impression! Just place a flat piece of cardstock in this embossing folder, run it through a die-cutting and embossing machine of your choice, and out comes a beautiful textured design.
If you do not already have a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator in the US, I would love the opportunity to earn your business.

Apr 10, 2020 | January - June 2020 Mini Catalog, News, Paper Crafting, Projects, Stampin Up Cards |
Hello my Crafting Friends!! Welcome back to my blog. It is so hard to believe that Easter is just a few days away!!! I know with all the craziness that is going on in the world right now with COVID-19. This is certainly not going to be the normal Easter that many of us are used to.
For this project today I decided to get out my Stampin’ Up! Welcome Easter set. I wanted to create something for my friends that have little ones at home. This set brings a smile to my face seeing the adorable little characters.
For the Easter Project, I wanted to add some texture for the background, as well as a cute, spring daisy flower. I used the Basket Weave Embossing Folder and the medium Daisy Punch. For a more full look I doubled up on the flower and off set them with a glue dot.
In both projects I used the 2″ Circle Punch along with the 2nd largest scalloped Layering Circle Die Cut.
What I love about the Welcome Easter set, is it’s versatility. This is such a cute Easter set, but also a sweet way to welcome a little one.
Easter Card Measurements:
- Thick Whisper White Card Base 4 1/4 x 11 Folded in half)
- Daffodil Delight Layer one 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
- Whisper White Embossed layer 4 x 5 1/4
- Stamped Image on 2″ Circle Punch, Layered onto 2nd Largest Scalloped Layering Die with Stampin Dimensional
- Stamped Happy Easter Sentiment and fussy cut out with my snips
Welcome Little One Card Measurements:
Below listed are all the items I used for today If you do not already have a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator in the US, I would love the opportunity to earn your business. To purchase these items, just simply click on the items listed below and that will take you directly to my store.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time, Happy Stamping!!!

Today’s Project I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Easter Promise set. I decided to use the simple stamping technique to create something simple and basic for my friends to be able to do at home with their kids. I love that this is a great Easter set with beautiful fonts, inside/outside sentiments, and floral/cross images. It’s a great set to add to your stash for its’ simplicity.
Easter Promise is the perfect Easter set for keeping things simple. By having the perfect sentiments for both the inside/outside of the card as well as lovely flowers to be able to color.
I stamped both the sentiment and the images in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I quickly shaded in the sentiment with Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. When coloring the flowers, I used both Dark and Light Highland Heather. For stems using Light Granny Apple Green. And the cross using Dark Daffodil Delight. If you love to color and and blend while you are coloring, our Stampin Blends are the perfect way to go!!

While many of us can’t be together with all of our loved ones, I decided to send out some love in the mail today to my family and friends. I have found that it has really helped me get through these long days of the shelter-in-place situation. This sentiment pretty much sums up how we are all feeling, don’t you think?
I created these cards with the Tags in Bloom Stamp Set from the 2nd release in the Sale-A-Bration catalog that sadly ends tomorrow March 31, 2020. I also used the Painted Labels Dies (151605) along with the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (151324).
PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
- Card Base Color of your choice to compliment Paper: (Pictured above: Thick Whisper White, Hightland Heather, Granny Apple Greetn) – 4 1/4 x 11 folded or scored at 5 1/2 per
- Designer Series Paper of your choice – 4 x 5 1/4
- Circle Punch for Sentiment 2″
- 1/2 x 4 Strip if you would like to add strip to front
If you have a question or a comment about today’s Project I would love to hear from you. Just leave me a comment down below. Stay tuned for my next projects where I will be showing my latest Easter Project.
Until Next time, Happy Crafting!!!!’
