Today’s Project is a Simple Layout Card using the Sweetest Cherries Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
In my area, we have these amazing Cherry Farms. I remember as a little girl I would love to go Cherry Picking and my absolute favorites were Rainier Cherries or as I called them the pretty Yellow and Red ones. So when I saw this bundle in the catalog I absolutely knew I needed them because it instantly brought me back to my childhood.
To create the perfect Rainier Cherries and first Inked my cherry stamp in Daffodil Delight and using a sponge dauber I inked that in Sweet Sorbet around the edges. Now that was the perfect color, but I wanted to add some additional shading with our amazing watercolor pencils to give it that color some extra pop. I used Real Red and Daffodil Delight in the pencils.

- Cardbase- Thick Basic White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ or folded in half.
- Layer 1- Sweet Sorbet – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Layer 2- Basic White- 3 3/4′ x 5″
- Designer Paper- 2022-2024 In Color- Parakeet Party- 2″ x 3 3/4″
- Circles- Stylish Shapes- Largest Circle Sweet Sorbet 2nd Largest Basic White
- Stamped Leaves in Parakeet Party and the Veins in Granny Apple Green
- Stamped Sentiment SWEET FRIEND in Sweet Sorbet
- Stamped Cherry Stem in Early Espresso directly onto the circle.
