Turn a Scrapbook Layout into a Card

This week on Template Thursday with Tammy, learn how I turn a scrapbook layout into a card.  This template was a fun way to turn a scrapbook layout into a card by using the scrapbook layouts on page 28  in the Annual Catalog.

I used the 4th Sketch from the top row.

I rotated the orientation for my interpretation of this sketch for a fun card.

Triple Time Stamping Technique

This week on another Episode of Teach it Tuesday with Tammy and Jennie, we are creating projects using the Triple Time Stamping Technique.  The Triple Time Stamping Technique is a great technique regardless of whether you are beginning cardmaking or at a more experienced level.

PROJECT VIDEO:  If you are receiving this in email, please catch the Video HERE

After your standard A2 Card base you alternate layers with your colored panels and your basic white focal stamping panels.

The first step you are going to want to do is stamp your sentiment on the smallest basic white panel.

TIP: Add a glue dot behind the top panel and 2nd panel to hold layers in place.  Tap your finger on glue dot to allow the oils from your finger to make the glue dot less sticky.

This is how your panels should look before stamping.

Stamp your images to create your own background pieces.

Adhere your basic white panels to your secret sea panels.

Add either stampin dimensionals or foam adhesive sheets to the back of panel 1 and 2.  Line it you so your stamped images become one.

Your card should look like this when you are done. I created the Timid Tiger card on the live.  Be sure to comment on the video which one is your favorite.

Inked Occasions

It’s kits week on Teach it Tuesday with Tammy and Jennie and I am playing with the Inked Occasions April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  It was so much fun creating the not only the original Inked Occasions Kit, but offer some alternate projects to give you more bank for your buck.

A collection of handmade greeting cards with colorful, watercolor floral backgrounds, gold foil accents, and messages such as “thinking of you,” “hugs,” and “congratulations.”.

PROJECT VIDEO:  If you are receiving this in email, please catch the Video HERE

Full disclosure, when I picked this kit, I did not pay attention that it was a past Paper Pumpkin Kit and typically you have to have a paper pumpkin subscription to get past kit refills, but there were extra kits of this kit and I was so excited.  So, if you loved this kit as much as I did be sure so grab yours quickly, because once they are gone they are gone.  You can either click the image below to purchase, you can click the supply list at the bottom of this post.

A cardmaking kit with colorful floral paper, envelopes, gold die-cut words, a small ink pad, clear stamps, acrylic block, adhesive dots, and decorative card bases. Text reads: “Inked Occasions #166252 www.cardsbytlc.com.”.

In this kit you can make 9 beautiful cards.  I created all 3 designs as shown on the live.

Three colorful handmade greeting cards on a wooden surface, each featuring watercolor designs, gold accents, and messages: thinking of you, hugs, Im here for you, and congratulations, you are amazing!.

But if you create using my and easy layout with some additional supplies, you can up to 18 cards by cutting the original card bases in half, and down to 4″ x 5 1/4″

Three handmade greeting cards with colorful watercolor backgrounds, gold accents, and die-cut words. Two say “hugs” with floral details; the third says “Thinking of You” in a circle with leaves. Cards by Tammy Civello.

If you’ve ever wanted a little creative escape delivered right to your door, the Paper Pumpkin subscription might be just what you need! At just $27 a month,

it’s a great fit for beginners, busy crafters, or anyone who loves quick and easy projects on the go. If you’re curious or have questions, I’d love to help you get started!
