How To Make a Pivot and Flip Fun Fold Card

Today I am going to share with you how to make a pivot and flip fun fold card.  You know I love a good fun fold card.  I was inspired by my friend and fellow demonstrator Lisa Curcio with this amazing fun fold.  I think you will love this fold that uses the Gallery Blooms Bundle paired with the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Paper.

Project Dimensions: Buckle Up, there are a lot of sizes and dimensions!!!
  • Base Night of Navy 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 2 1/8″, 4 1/4″, 6 3/8″ (Or Flip your cardstock and score at 2 1/8″ on the other side)
  • Center Panel in Night of Navy 2 1/8″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White Matte Panels (x7) 2″ x 5 3/8″
  • Basic White Sentiment Panel 2″ x 5 3/8″
  • DSP Panels (x7) 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White panels for center panels (You can also use DSP for this section) 2 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Night of Navy Front Flap Panels (x4) 1 3/8″ x 4 1/4″
  • DSP Front Flap Panels (x4) 1 1/8″ x 4″ in a coordinating pattern
  • DSP Back Flap Panels (x4)  1 1/8″ x 1 7/8″

I know that is a lot of measurements, but it is so fun how it all comes together.  Keep in mind, this is a thicker card and will require extra postage.  Or, it is perfect for someone to receive it in person.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed this fun fold, and that you try it as well.

Hugs, Tammy

Double Flap Triangle Fold

If you love fun folds, yesterday on my YouTube LIVE I shared this Double Flap Triangle Fold.  So like my Template Thursday projects, this concept follows my 1 Design, 2 ways, 2 looks.

For this card, I’m showcasing the beautiful Petals of Beauty Bundle, the Online Exclusive from November , paired with the stunning Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper. The soft colors and elegant florals make this fold perfect for birthdays, thank you cards, thinking-of-you cards, and more.

  • Brushed with Beauty DSP Strip for inside 3/4″ x 5 1/4″

  • Angle Cut DSP Panel Top Right Corner to Bottom Left on 1st Pattern, if using 2 different patterns
  • Angle Cut DSP Panel Top Left Corner to Bottom Right on 2nd Pattern if using 2 different patterns
Watch cutting tip in video if you are using 1 pattern vs. 2 pattens.

Using the Spooky Sweet 12×12 Designer Paper creates the cutest card front—full of playful patterns and festive flair! I paired it with the Spooky Halloween Bundle for the perfected Sentiment.
