I created this version during my YouTube LIVE yesterday, when I realized the inside flower that I stamped was from a retired stamp set.  I switched things up a little but showcasing the flowers from Flowering Meadow and quickly realized it matched even better.  Choosing a different pattern of Delicate Dreams Designer Paper, I decided to change out the color of the cardstock as well.

I decided to add a back panel of Basic White to the back of the card to add more room to write a message for the recipient

Project Dimensions:
  • Base in Secret Sea or Crumb Cake : 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
  • Basic White Panel for back 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • (2) Panel in Secret Sea or Early Espresso  3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
  • (1) Panel in Secret Sea or Early Espresso 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
  • (2) DSP Panels 3″ x 4 1/4″
  • Basic White Panel for Sentiment and Flower 2″ x 3 1/4″
  • Basic White Label from Nested Essentials – 3rd from Largest

Be sure to watch the video replay where I’ll walk you through the project step-by-step so you can create one right along with me. Grab your favorite Designer Series Paper and stamp set and give this Fun Fold a try!

I hope today’s project inspires you to get into your craft room and create. I always love seeing what you make, so be sure to share your finished project with me!

Quadruple Flip Fun Fold

This week on my Sunday YouTube LIVE, I created what I am calling a Quadruple Flip Fun Fold. To create this Quadruple Fun Fold, I showcased the July Product of the Month, Begonia Belle. The Product of the Month, is an exclusive $5 product from Stampin’ Up! each month when you purchase $75 or more in my Online Store.   When I saw this fold, I know I absolutely had to create it. You will be surprised how easy this fold actually is and how versatile it is.  It is a great way to use up DSP.

Open up and you see this layer

Fold Down this Layer and you have another fold

Fold to the left and you have your final layer for the Quadruple Flip Fold

Double Flap Fun Fold Card

I absolutely love a great fun fold, and today I am creating a Double Flap Fun Fold Card. In this Double Flap Fun Fold Card, I am featuring the Balloon Festoon Bundle and pairing it with the Beautiful Ordinary Designer Paper.  This fold is the perfect way to showcase any of your favorite Designer Series Papers!

One of my favorite things about this fun fold is how versatile it is. Simply change the Designer Series Paper and sentiment, and you’ll have the perfect card for birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations, thank-you cards, friendship cards, and so much more. It’s one of those layouts you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again!

PROJECT VIDEO:  If you are receiving this in email, please catch the Video HERE

Project Dimensions:
  • Base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ – I used Pretty Peacock as well as Flirty Flamingo
  • Flap Pieces (1) 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and (1) 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ – Both scored at 1/2″ – Colors used Pretty Peacock and Flirty Flamingo
  • Basic White Inside Panel
  • DSP Pieces (2) 3″ x 3 1/2″ (2) 2 1/2″ x 3″ TIP:If you are using a non directional pattern, you can start with a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP.  You Cut it at 3″ vertically and rotate horizontally and cut at 3 1/2″.  This leaves you with zero waste.

What I love about this fold is that you can do this both horizontally and vertically.  During the LIVE we created both versions.  Below is the vertical version.

I may or may not have had so much fun creating more.  I cannot wait to user different DSP’s with this fold.

Thank you for stopping by, I would love to hear from you which DSP would you use  Leave me a comment below. I always love to hear from you. Happy Crafting!!
