Pop Up Gift Card Holder

On yesterday’s Sunday Funday Live, I created a super fun Pop Up Gift Card Holder.  Looking for the perfect gift card holder for Birthdays, Christmas, or any special occasion?  In today’s tutorial, I’m showing you how to create an adorable Pop-Up Gift Card Holder using the Brushed with Beauty Suite .  I was inspired by Sunny Day Stamping on YouTube, and I am always looking for a unique gift card holder. This one is super cute for any occasion.

TIP:
  1. Stamp Sentiment for inside and adhere to cardbase first. THIS MUST BE DONE FIRST
  2. Then adhere front panel before working on pop up portion. This is optional, but easier

POP UP BAG SCORING:
  • Along the 11″ side score at 1/2″, 1″. 5″. 5 1/2″, 6″, 10″ and 10 1/2″
  • Rotate: score at 1/2″ This will be the bottom of your bag, so if you are using directional paper, keep that in mind

CUTTING FOR BAG:
  • I show this tip on the video, you can use scissors, but found that cutting with the trimmer is easier.  We are removing the Top 2 sections, the middle 2 sections, and the bottom 2 sections.
  • Line up your 1/2″ Score line in trimmer and cut down to 1″
  • Line Cutting Blade at 5″ and cut down to 6″
  • Line Cutting Bade at 10″ mark and cut down the rest of the way
  • USE Snips to cut up recently cut score marks and remove top, middle, and bottom.  You template should look like the image below

This is why you need to do the insert for the card first…..

Graduation Gift Card Holder

This week on Teach it Tuesday with Tammy I created this adorable Graduation Gift Card Holder.  The Cap and Gown stamp set made the perfect Graduation Gift Card Holder.

PROJECT VIDEO:  If you are receiving this in email, please catch the Video HERE

PROJECT DIMENSSIONS:
  • Top Folding Card Base in Blueberry Bushel 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
  • (2) Basic White Panels 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • 2nd Card Base for gift card holder in Blueberry Bushel  3 1/8″ x 8 1/4″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White Panel for stamping 3″ x 4″
  • 3″ x 3″ Square in Florals in Bloom Designer Paper (Cut at diagonal)

Designer Paper makes a great pocket for your gift card.  I used a 3″x3″ square from the Florals in Bloom Designer Paper.  Cut your square at a diagonal to create the perfect pocket

This stamp set has the perfect sentiments for your graduation card.

I used the smaller cap to create the perfect background for our own “designer paper”
