I have really become obsessed with the Intricate Dies from the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle so when this month’s theme came up it was a no-brainer for me. We have had some cooler temps in the San Francisco Bay Area so I figured if I continue playing with Fall colors and bundles, it might help bring the cooler temps more frequently.

The Colors used for the leaves are Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, and Coastal Cabana. The Sentiment used came from Sparkle of Season.  I am completely Grateful for those supporting me, so I thought it was perfect for my customer thank you cards and to randomly send these out to my amazing friends that support me each and every day. To finish off my card I used the 2020-2022 Square Gems and of course what fall card would not be complete with linen thread

If you are looking for an easy and simple way to create a perfect banner, The Tailored Tag Punch is the perfect tool to have in your craft supplies.

Luv to Stamp Blog Hop Halloween Edition

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year, we hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

When you have completed each post, be sure to scroll down to the bottom and you will see the list of Blog Hop Participants. You may either click on their name to go to their post or click the NEXT button.  Happy Crafting and I hope you enjoy this month’s theme: HALLOWEEN.

For this project, I used the Frightfully Cute Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2021 July-December Mini Catalog.  This has become one of my favorite Halloween sets this season.  The dies that coordinate with this bundle are absolutely incredible.  I love using the Black Glitter Paper to add a little extra glam.  I used that for my spider web, tree, witches hat,  and fence.  The Blending Brushes make the perfect spooky background.  If you would like to see my other spooky background project using the same bundle click HERE.

In the photo below I included some fun tips for how to add adhesive quick and easy to intricate dies, and a fun way to add a little something extra to the witches hat.

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
  • Basic Black Cardbase 5 1/2″ x 8″ Scored at 4 1/4″ or folded in half
  • Beautifully Penned Designer Paper 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (Please note that is a Limited edition product until September 30, 2021 or while supplies last)
  • Layering Circle Dies – Largest Regular Circle, 2nd Largest Scalloped, 2nd Smallest for Sentiment
  • Finished off with Basic Jewel Rhinestones.

Thank you so much for stopping by our Hop today.  Be sure to hop with my other crafty friends for that perfect Halloween Inspiration.

Simple Book Binding Card

I had so much fun creating this simple Book Binding Card yesterday on my Weekly Facebook Crafting Wednesday’s Live.

My cards today I used the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle paired with the GORGEOUS Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper.   This paper is so stunning in person and makes the perfect Fall Card,

The sentiments in this stamp set send the perfect message to make anyone smile.

What I absoloultely love about the Book Binding Fold, you can easily mass produce many cards in a timely manner.  This fold just adds a little extra to your basic fold and showcases our amazing designer paper.

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Cardbase Rich Razzleberry 4 1/4″ x 11″  Scored at 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″
  • 4″x4″ Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper of your choice
  • 1″ x 4″ Blackberry Beauty Desiger Paper (Same Pattern as 4″x4″)
  • 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper (I used a more solid pattern to coordinate nicely with Dies)
  • About a 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ Strip of Be Dazzling SAB Paper (ONLY AVAIL UNTIL 9/30)  Plus a Basic White Scrap to stamp sentiment on
  • 4″x4″ Basic White Cardstock for inside of card and finish off with 3/4″ x 4″ strip of coordinating designer paper (This is optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Fold Card base in half and glue the center together flat to allow you card to open like a book
  • Add Layers of designer paper to the front of the card base and tie Gold 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon on the bookbinding edge
  • Stamp Sentiment on Basic White Strip and adhere to Be Dazzling Paper.
  • I used the 2 detailed pumpkin dies from the Detailed Pumpkin Dies Set and cut out in coordinating colors.  I used Cinamon Cider and Cajun Craze for the larger pumpkins and Blackberry Bliss and Cajin Craze for the smaller pumpkins
  • Add smaller 3/4″ x4″ strip to 4″x4″ Basic White and adhere to inside of card.
  • I finished off with adding the Brushed Metalic Dots

VIDEO:

I absolutely loved this paper so much and thought that the Gold Shimmer RIbbon is such a great addition I thought I would some samples from a class I recently took with my friends Patty Bennett and Melanie Hockin

I hope you enjoyed today’s creation.  If you have any questions, please feel free to Message me or leave a comment below.  All Supplies to this project are listed below as well.

Frightfully Cute Halloween Card

This week I wanted to challenge myself to a scenery card.  Normally they intimidate me, but I love to blend skies and backgrounds so I thought why not step outside of my comfort zone.  When I saw the new Frightfully Cute Bundle I knew I would love it to make a cute Halloween Card.

I immediately fell in love with the dies out of this bundle and what was normally a challenge became instant ease.  When I saw the dies I knew I had to pull out my Black Glitter Paper. I absolutely love how the fence turned out and can’t wait to use the other dies like the spider web and witch hat.

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
  • Basic Black Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Scored at 4 1/4″
  • 2 Pieces of Basic White Cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″ (1) Piece for Blending (1) Piece for inside to stamp sentiment

I created a collage below to help you with the steps.

TIPS:
  • When Masking You can Use the Circle Die from the Frightfully Cute Bundle or if you do not want a slight halo you can use a 1 1/4″ Circle Punch or Die.  Otherwise, you can move your mask around like I did to remove the halo.
  • For the Perfect Blend and avoid harsh circles on your project take your blending brush and hold it at the base of the handle and in a circular motion ink your brush and then in the same motion add it to your project.  I started with Misty Moonlight, came in with Rich Razzleberry for the perfect night sky.  Then with my Memento Black Ink swirled the bottom for a spookier effect.
  • When Heat Embossing your label use either a crafting tweezer or even a clothespin to avoid burning your fingers.
  • When adhering the die pieces down you can either use the adhesive sheets or use a dauber, liquid glue, and silicone mat (Image Below)

Addicting Diagonal Cut – Penguin Place

Hey Stampin’ Friends:

I am so excited to share today’s project with you.  This is such a fun and in my opinion, quite addicting diagonal cut.  My super talented friend Kurstan Del Rosario showcased this in her live this past weekend and I absolutely fell in love with this.  You can check out her cute Halloween creations HERE.

Today’s project I created this week from my Crafting Wednesday’s Facebook Live.  I am using one of my favorite bundles out of the July-August Mini Catalog.  The Penguin Place.

I absolutely love the versatility of this set and this designer paper is one of my absolute favorites from the Sale – A -Bration catalog.  This paper can be used for Christmas, Winter, Birthday, Pick me up. And the best part I love about it is that it coordinates with the Penguin Place Bundle perfectly!!!  And it is FREE with a $50 online order.

I thought it would be fun to cut out the penguin bodies using my returning favorite the Black Glitter Paper.  I love how perfect this paper gives the penguin a little extra glam.

MEASUREMENTS:
  • Card Base: Basic White For the Birthday Card and Just Jade for the Christmas Card –4 1/4″ x 11″: scored at 5 1/2″ or folded in half

STAMPIN UP! Supplies for this Project:

Luv to Stamp Blog Hop – Birthday

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year, we hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

When you have completed each post, be sure to scroll down to the bottom and you will see the list of Blog Hop Participants. You may either click on their name to go to their post or click the NEXT button.  Happy Crafting and I hope you enjoy this month’s theme: Birthday.  Which is perfect since it happens to fall on my Birthday Month!!!

Today’s Card features the You’re a Peach Suite which happens to be one of my absolute favorite suites out of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  The Designer Paper is probably one of the prettiest most versatile papers they have made in a long time.

To create the scalloped edge on this card, I used one of my favorite dies as well.  The Scalloped Contour Die Set is one of the most versatile die bundles we have.  And to create the perfect color for the peach I stamped the image in Pale Papaya and then used a sponge dobber and tapped the edge of the stamp in Flirty Flamingo before stamping the image.  The leaves I stamped in Granny Apple Green and used the dies from the Sweet as a Peach Bundle.  To finish off the project, I took Basic Peals and colored them with my Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends.  That is one of my favorite Tips!!

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
  • Cardbase: Balmy Blue 4 1/4″ x 11″  Scored at 5 1/2″ or folded in half
  • DSP: 2″ x 5 1/2″  – Use Scallop Die from the Contour Scalloped Edge Dies
  • Calypso Coral Panel 3″x3″
  • Basic White 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
  • If you choose to put Basic White Panel on inside you can cut a piece of Basic White at 4″x 5 1/4″.  This was a pretty light card base so I chose to leave it blank.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed today’s project.  Be sure to continue to hop along with my crafting friends for your Birthday Inspiration!!!
