Today we are creating a Double Gate Fold Card using the Kindest Gnome Set from the 2022 July-Dec Mini Catalog.
For this card I started with an 11″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock and scored at 1-1/4″, 3-3/8″, 7-5/8″ and 9-3/4″. Using the Storybook 12 x 12 Desginer Paper made the perfect winter scene for our little gnome buddy. I decided to a removeable belly band 1″x 11″ to help keep the card closed.
I used the Following Blends to color my Gnome image: Light Smoky Slate, Light Crumb Cake, SU 900, 200 Nuetral Blends, Dark Balmy Blue, Dark Mint Macaroon, and the Color Lifter for his hat. Finishing off with the Fine and Sparkle Embelishments.

Today’s project I am making this adorable Christmas Santa Cow Card. I paired the Sale-A-Bration Hippest Hippos, coordinating dies with the Jingle Jingle Jingle Set I have absolutely fallen in love with these hippos.
I could not resist turning the hippo into a Santa Cow. When I saw the Jingle Jingle Jingle Stamp Set and saw the Santa Hat I immediately knew I wanted to create this. I stamped the Hippo and Hat in Smoky Slate for a softer stamped image. To color my Cow, I used the Natural Tones Light Combo for the belly and mouth. Light Flirty Flamingo for the ears and of course Dark Basic Black for the spots.
DIMENSIONS:
Card Base (Real Red) – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ or folded in half
Basic White x 2 – (1 for the inside piece) 4″ x 5 1/4″

Today’s Project is a super fun Slimline Card using the adorable Sunny Splash Stamp Set. This can be found on page41 from the Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. When I saw this set I immediately knew I was going to create a slimline card with an “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”.
The background circles are in the brand new 2022-2024 In Color 6×6 Designer Paper in Tahitian Tide. I used the 2nd Largest Circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
To Create the Polka Dot Bikini, I masked out the middle with Post It Tape. Inked the Image in Daffodil Delight, removed the tape, and stamped the image.
DIMENSIONS:
Cardbase 7″ x 8 1/4″
Layer 1 Basic White Layer 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ (x2) You will need one for the inside of your card
Layer 2 (Same color as cardbase) 1 7/8″ x 7 1/8″
Top Basic White Layer 1 3/4″ x 7″
I had so much fun with these colors I decided I wanted to make a Paraket Party one as well. I ended up using my Parakeet Party Stampin Blends to splatter for one final touch.
Although I wish they had cute dies to cut out the suits I found it really easy to fussy cut them out as well as the sentiment. If you know me I am not a huge fan of fussy cutting.

Today’s Project is a Simple Layout Card using the Sweetest Cherries Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
In my area, we have these amazing Cherry Farms. I remember as a little girl I would love to go Cherry Picking and my absolute favorites were Rainier Cherries or as I called them the pretty Yellow and Red ones. So when I saw this bundle in the catalog I absolutely knew I needed them because it instantly brought me back to my childhood.
To create the perfect Rainier Cherries and first Inked my cherry stamp in Daffodil Delight and using a sponge dauber I inked that in Sweet Sorbet around the edges. Now that was the perfect color, but I wanted to add some additional shading with our amazing watercolor pencils to give it that color some extra pop. I used Real Red and Daffodil Delight in the pencils.

In my weekly YouTube Live Stream yesterday (May 19, 2022) I created these simple layout cards. I used the Bottled Happiness Bundle from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog What I love about this Bundle you can use it for any occasion.
In my First Project, I used the brand new 2022-2024 Stampin’ Up! In-Color Starry Sky. I stamped the bottle in Soft Sea Foam and the sprig in Mossy Meadow. This is a 2-step Stamp and I stamped my Flowers in Starry Sky and the leaves in Pear Pizazz.
DIMENSIONS:
Card Base Starry Sky 4 1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 5 1/2″ or folded in half
Another thing that has become a new obsession of mine and I know I will be using all year round is the amazing Deckled Rectangle Dies. These dies are so versatile and I used them on both projects.
In my 2nd Project, I showcased another 2022-2024 In-Color Sweet Sorbet. This color has become my favorite shade of Red. I stamped my bottle in Sahara Sand and my hearts and the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet. Now I got the heart cluster from the Simply Fabulous Stamp Set. I believe they might be like baby tulips but they look like hearts.
DIMENSIONS:
Card Base Sweet Sorbet 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ or folded in half
Today’s project is perfect for this time of year. I created the perfect gift card holder for any event. Whether you are making a card for a Birthday, Wedding, Graduation, or Just Because this is the perfect quick and easy Layout.
In your next step, you will want to score your DSP along the 9 1/4″ side at 2 3/4″ and 7″ Rotate along the 6″ side you will score at 5/8″. Then by taking your paper snips you will want to remove the two bottom corners. To get the perfect fold you will also want to trim the middle flap at an angle.
Using a strong adhesive such as Stamp n Seal or Stamp n Seal + adhere flap pieces together.
Next, you will want to use the 3rd smallest circle die or any circle die or punch to notch out the top of your card as well as the 2″x6″ Strip that will hold your gift card for your pocket piece.
For your insert pocket pieces, you will want to pick a good coordinating color as well as Basic White for your sentiment piece. In this project, I used Melon Mambo
Melon Mambo Piece 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Basic White : 3 3/4″ x 5″
On your Basic White Piece, you will want to add adhesive to the bottom edge, place your 2″ x 6″ DSP.
Flip your panel over and trim corner pieces off to give you a better fold.
Stamp your Sentiment and Adhere your Panel to Melon Mambo Cardstock. I used the stitched squares from Stylish Shapes and I die cut the flowers out of the DSP. I finished up with my new favorite Solid Faced Gems.
