I would love to share with you my Stampin’ Up! story. 15 years ago a co-worker gave me a handmade Birthday card and I absolutely fell in love with it. Today’s project I thought I would show you a great Teacher/Co-worker gift. This is a great inexpensive gift for the Holidays, but it also is a great gift year-round as a Thank You, Birthday, or Just Because. This Easel Desktop Calendar is quick, simple, and fun to put together. In fact, it comes together so nicely that you can make multiples in a short amount of time.
I had fun showcasing these two different designs in my Weekly Crafting Facebook Live this week. Currently, I am in Craft Fair Mode and these are always one of my top sellers. I am doing an up-and-coming craft fair in November for a special Cause. We are doing a pet-themed event and I thought the adorable Sweet Stockings Designer Paper was the perfect background for this easel card. Most of the Animal prints are Christmas-related, however, this specific pattern is perfect for year-round.
Here is one of my favorite patterns in the In Good Taste Designer paper out of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I am also using one of my favorite sentiments from the Color and Contour Stamp Set, “You’re Absolutely Amazing”. This is the perfect encouragement sentiment.

Today’s project is this adorable easy Fun Fold Christmas Card. I got this idea from my friend Lisa Curcio. I absolutely love love love fun folds and this one has quickly become one of my favorites. This layout you can easily do multiples in. The best part is you don’t have to just focus on a Christmas Theme. This layout can be used for anything. Thank You, Birthday, Halloween, Grateful, whatever your heart’s content.
What I love about this Buckle card, I am showing you how easy it is to use dies for your buckle vs. a punch. The die I used in this project is the smallest rectangle die from Stitched Rectangles.

I have really become obsessed with the Intricate Dies from the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle so when this month’s theme came up it was a no-brainer for me. We have had some cooler temps in the San Francisco Bay Area so I figured if I continue playing with Fall colors and bundles, it might help bring the cooler temps more frequently.
The Colors used for the leaves are Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, and Coastal Cabana. The Sentiment used came from Sparkle of Season. I am completely Grateful for those supporting me, so I thought it was perfect for my customer thank you cards and to randomly send these out to my amazing friends that support me each and every day. To finish off my card I used the 2020-2022 Square Gems and of course what fall card would not be complete with linen thread

For this project, I used the Frightfully Cute Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2021 July-December Mini Catalog. This has become one of my favorite Halloween sets this season. The dies that coordinate with this bundle are absolutely incredible. I love using the Black Glitter Paper to add a little extra glam. I used that for my spider web, tree, witches hat, and fence. The Blending Brushes make the perfect spooky background. If you would like to see my other spooky background project using the same bundle click HERE.
In the photo below I included some fun tips for how to add adhesive quick and easy to intricate dies, and a fun way to add a little something extra to the witches hat.
