Great Neighbor Gift Ideas

This week we are finishing up with my favorite craft fair series where we are creating some great neighbor gift ideas for this holiday season.  Both of these items are really easy to mass produce for quick and easy gift ideas.

The first project we created was this cute and simple Hot Chocolate Packet.

 

 

 

 

It holds the Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate Packets.

 

Project Dimensions:
  • Holder in Real Red 4 1/4″ x 11″ score at 2″, 6″, 7″
  • Take a Bow DSP Top Layer – 4″ x 1 3/4″
  • Take a Bow DSP Bottom Layer 3 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
  • For the Slot for the hot chocolate I used the skinny tag from Greetings of the Season

 

Pop Up Gift Card Holder

 

 

 

Project Dimensions:
  • Night of Navy 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 3 1/2″, 5 1/2″, 7 1/2″
  • (2) pieces of Sentimental Christmas panels 3 1/4″ x 4″
  • Basic White panel for inside 3 1/4″ x 4″
  • Belly Band 7/8″ x 8 1/2″
  • Largest Stylish Shape Circle Die in Boho Blue
  • 2nd Largest Stylish Shape Circle for DSP

Simple Sketch Hanukkah Card

This week on Teach it Tuesday with Tammy and Jennie I created a Simple Sketch Hanukkah Card.  I am so glad Stampin’ Up! came out with the perfect Hanukkah Stamp Set, Celebrate the Miracle.  Jennie and I are creating using sketch layout #8 from page 22 in the 2024-2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Project Dimensions:
  • Top folding card base in Night of Navy- 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
  • Azure Afternoon Panel 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ Starting Point – Cut down to 9 pieces after stamping 1 1/4″ x 1 1/34″
  • Basic White panel for inside 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Deckled Circle for focal image.
  • Finish up with Opal Rounds embelishments

Stamp Star of David image to make your own background.  I stamped in Boho Blue on Azure Afternoon panel.

 

 

Cut panel into 9 pieces at 1 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ TIP: keep in order to create a solid background piece.

Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Today we are continuing on with more Stocking Stuffer Ideas.  I know this is technically part 2 of Stocking Stuffer Ideas, but I am going to blog that one for you tomorrow.  Today we are creating a fun Gift Card Holder for that handy person in your life and a cute Pencil Packet for the littles in your life.

  • Top Layer: 4″ x 2 3/4″ if directional, otherwise you can cut it at 2 3/4″ x 4″
  • Front Layer Strip: 4: x 7/8″ if directional, otherwise you can cut it at 7/8″ x 4″
  • Side Strips (x2) – 2 3/4″ x 7/8″ if directional, otherwise you can cut it at 7/8″ x 2  3/4″
  • Largest Rounded Square from Nested Essentials
  • Tools from Trusty Tools Bundle-Stamped in Pebbled Path
  • Colored in Grey Granite, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, and Cherry Cobbler Combos

Pencil Pack Dimensions are shown in the picture above.  The ephemera pieces are from A LIttle Bit Festive Specialty Paper.  The pencil packets I got at the dollar tree.
