Craft Fair Series Part 1

Welcome to Craft Fair Series Part 1.  I am in the middle of Craft Fair Season and decided that it would be fun create a Craft Fair Series over the next couple of weeks.  On my live from Saturday I am kicking it off with 2 of my top selling Craft Fair items.

When doing the Calendar in the video, I did have the wrong dimensions on that project, pictured below are what the front box portion should look like, along with the proper dimensions.  I apologize for the confusion in the video.

 

 

Mini Calendar Project Dimensions:
  • From an 8 1/1″ x 11″ Piece of Misty Moonlight Cut 1 Piece at 3 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ and 4 3/4″ x 7″
  • Iconic Celebrations Designer Paper panels 3 1/2″ x 3″ and 2 1/4″ x 3″
  • SCORING: Along 10 1/2″ side score at 4″ 8″, 9″ and 10″
  • Along the 7″ Side of 2nd Card Base Score @ 4″ and 4 1/2“- Turn Vertically and Score at 4 1/4” on both sides
  • With the Same Card Base on the side that has the larger square line up at 1 1/2″ mark and score down to 1st Score line Only
  • Flip it and line it up at 5 1/2″ and score down to 1st score line only

 

 

 

Hand Sanitizer Project Dimensions:
  • Main Holder in Real Red – 3 3/4″ x 8 1/2″ – Along 3 3/4″ side score at 1″ and 2 3/4″, Along 8 1/2″ side Score at 2″ 3″ 6″ 7″
  • Snowy Scenes Designer Paper Pieces: (1) 1 7/8″ x 1 5/8″, (2) 7/8″ x 1 7/8, (1) 1 3/8″ x 1 5/8″ (2) 7/8″ x 1 3/8″
  • Decked Circle in Real Red
  • Sentiment stamped in Real Red and Fussy Cut.

Iconic Celebrations

In this week’s episode of Teach it Tuesday with Tammy and Jennie I am play with the Iconic Celebrations 6×6 Designer Paper Pack.  I absolutely love how versatile the Iconic Celebrations paper is.  From Christmas trees to hearts and fireworks to candles, you’ll find uses for each design throughout the whole year. With simple designs to complement almost any style, the Iconic Celebrations paper is perfectly sized for card making and scrapbooking.

 

You get 48 Sheets, 4 each of 12 designs.

In my Live I created this card as it is the perfect way to display your pattern paper.  I loved how the white panel broke up that tone on tone look.

 

 

Project Dimensions:
  • Top Fold Card Base in Cajun Craze 4 1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 5 1/2″
  • 2 Basic White Panels 4″ x 5 1/4″ (1 for front and 1 for inside)
  • (2) Designs 1 1/8″ x 1 1/8″ (Corner Pieces)
  • (2) Designs 1 1/8″ x 2 3/8″ (Top Pieces)
  • (2) Designs 1 1./8″ x 2 5/8″ (Side and Bottom Pieces)
  • Labels are from the Something Fancy Dies
  • Sentiment is from Something Fancy Stamp Set
  • Finish up with Linen Thread and Faux Glass Dots

 

On my live I mentioned you can also increase your size just a little and adhere the designer paper directly to the Card Base.

 

 

Project Dimensions:
  • Increased the Corner Pieces to 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″
  • Top Pieces 1 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
  • Side and Bottom Pieces to 1 1/4″ x 2 5/8″

Simple Layout Card

On this week’s Teach it Tuesday with Tammy and Jennie I created a Simple Layout Card using the Reindeer Fun Bundle from Stampin Up!  We decided to work on sketch layout #1 from the sketch layouts on page 22 in the Annual Catalog.

 

 

 

I decided to showcase the Reindeer Fun Bundle from StampIn’ Up!  And, although, I did not focus on the sizes and dimensions I did focus on the same simple layout.

  • Standard Card Base in Thick Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Reindeer DSP 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
  • Inside DSP Strip 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
  • Largest Nested Essentials Rounded Rectangle in Real Red
  • Largest Stylish Shapes Banner in Real Red
  • Finished off with Red and White Bakers Twine and Regal Foiled Gems
