What better way to celebrate this Easter card than using the adorable Easter Friends Stamp Set.

I am in love with the Bunny, but I am obsessed with the Chicks!!  I absolutely love the realistic look of these images and they are so easy to color with our Stampin’ Blend Markers. I used the Daffodil Delight Combo for the Body and Pale Papaya for his beak and feet.

This Fun Fold is one of my favorites and when I saw this stamp set I knew it was perfect for the Happy Chick Image.

Of course, I could not resist completing the inside of the card with the baby Chick.

Sweet as a Peach Fun Layout Card

In Today’s Project, I am sharing a fun Layout Card Using the Sweet as a Peach Bundle.  This is probably one of my favorite Bundles from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.

Sweet as a Peach Simple Fun Layout Card

What I love about this layout is that it really showcases the amazing coordinating  You’re a Peach Designer Paper.  This layout gives it a different take on your traditional card.

Now the Sweet as a Peach Bundle is part of the Savings are In Bloom Special in my Online Store from March 1-30, 2022. This Bundle is typically 10% off in the Annual Catalog, but this month is on sale for 20%.  Now what I am gathering this bundle might be on the upcoming Retire List that goes live on March 23, 2022.

These Bundles will probably go fast, so if this is something that I have inspired you to add to your crafting supplies, I have added to the bottom of this post a shopping list of all the supplies used in today’s project for an easy shopping experience for you.

Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop- Celebrating Women

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2022 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year, we hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

When you have completed each post, be sure to scroll down to the bottom and you will see the list of Blog Hop Participants. You may either click on their name to go to their post or click the NEXT button.  Happy Crafting and I hope you enjoy this month’s theme: CELEBRATING WOMEN

In today’s project, since the theme was CELEBRATING WOMEN I could not think of someone so deserving than my late mom Diane.  She is the inspiration behind today’s project.

Quilted layout card

My mom absolutely loved to quilt.  In fact, the one thing she loved to make were potholders.  Since she also loved to cook, she would love to make potholders for family and friends.  We also loved doing craft fairs together.  See the photo below of the last craft fair we did together in 2015.

What I absolutely love about this layout you can pretty much do any of our amazing Designer Papers.  It is a fabulous way to use up those scrap pieces you have lying around.  The size of the squares I am using are 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″.  The paper I used in this project is the Symbols of Fortune paper.  I absolutely love this paper. PRO TIP:  You will want to layout ahead of time like the sample below and you will also want to use Liquid Glue to adhere down to allow wiggle room.

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
  • Card Base Calypso Coral 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Scored at 4 1/4″ or Folded in Half
  • Basic White Matte Piece 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Symbols of Fortune DSP  1 1/4″ x 1  1/4″ (you will need 6 of each.  Although you will be only using 4 of one)
  • Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder
  • Sentiment from Blessings from Home
  • Label me Lovely Punch
  • Finished off with Rhinestones color with Calypso Coral Blends
