It is our 1 year crafting Anniversary on Teach it Tuesday with Tammy and Jennie, and I am bringing you some Fun Patriotic Cards. It is 4th of July here in the states on Friday, and these Fun Patriotic Cards are perfect for the to send some love.
I cannot believe it has been 1 year today of Teach it Tuesday with Tammy and Jennie. Jennie and I have so much fun bringing you different techniques, color combos, fun folds, and even scrapbooking layouts with our special guest and dear friend Patty Bennett.
For our projects we decided that each year it is perfect to continue with the red, white, and blue color combo. The brand new Online Exclusive Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder has literally become my new obsession, and is perfect for these cards. This is an Online Exclusive item which means, it is available while supplies last, so I would definitely grab yours today. I have linked it in my supply list at the bottom of this post.

Thank you Jennie for being a great partner in crime and I look forward to another year partnering wyou you for more creative fun.

On my YouTube Live yesterday, I shared the Ink Swipe Technique with 3D Embossing Folders. Although I showed the Ink Swipe Technique on both the Happy Hibiscus 3D Embossing Folder and the upcoming brand new Online Exclusive Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder (Avail to purchase on July 1m 2025), the Sunflower was clearly my favorite and the most addicting!! I have cut these panel to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ size. Since the Sunflower Embossing folder is a larger folder you can fit 2 panels and emboss them both at once.

Using your favorite Designer Paper can be a game changer for a different look.
I had so much fun coming up with the different color combos. It was so hard to narrow down my top 4 cards, but I think these are my top 4 favorites.
I have mentioned my card candy bowl in many video, but since this technique was so addicting and fun, I have decided to create a “Card Candy Box” to go with my “Card Candy Bowl”. This technique is perfect to create a bunch of card fronts to have on hand and then add your sentiment for when you need that last minute Birthday Card, Friendship Card, Sympathy, Thinking of You, whatever the occasion might be. It is always so fun to get a hand made card in the mail.
I want to thank my dear friend Patty Bennett for the most fun and addicting technique, I have done in a long time. Be sure to check our here replay and amazing projects HERE If you love this embossing folder as much as I do, I would highly recommend ordering it as soon as you can. I have a feeling this is going to be a super popular folder. I will be posting different color combos over the next several months, so be sure to subscribe to my blog and free newsletter, as I will be sharing my favorite’s. Let me know what your favorite color combo you would try is
Today I created Jumbo Tags for the very first time on Episode 3 of Template Thursday with Tammy. I decided to pull Sketch 4 from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog to create my Jumbo Tags. 1 Sketch, 2 ways. With this sketch it is perfect to do the same sketch but just make one simple change with the orientation.

I was inspired by my dear friend Tracy Travis, from Stampin Queen Bee on YouTube, and she also did this sketch and came up with the perfect Template Sizing. The Designer Paper that I am using, is from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack which is perfect to make this adorable jumbo tag.
Dimensions:
Main Tag Pretty in Pink 3 1/2″ x 6″
2nd Layer Designer Paper and Basic White Layer for the Back 3 1/4″ x 5 3/4″
The sketches can be found on page 24 in the Annual Catalog and if you turn to page 28, you will find 8 more sketch ideas showcasing scrapbook layouts. This sketch is the original orientation.
Flip it over and add a Basic White Layer to add an additional sentiment and your message.
Just by turning the orientation you can get another fun look.
I hope that you enjoyed this week’s Template Thursday with Tammy.
