Spiral Die- Party Puffin – Birthday Card

Hey Stampin’ Friends:

Last weekend we had our Annual Catalog Kickoff event for our Team.  I presented 2 projects using the adorable Party Puffins Stamp Set.  If you missed yesterday’s blog you can CLICK HERE to see the first project.

In today’s project, I wanted to showcase another stamp that I am absolutely in love with.  The Spiral Dye Background Set. I am absolutely obsessed with the brand new 2021-2023 In-Colors.  Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia are my two faves out of the new 5 colors.

To Create this fun Tie Die Background, I used the Stamparatus, our stamp positioning tool.  I also showed below where the best spot to line up your Basic White Cardstock to start stamping your first layer.  You will then rotate your cardstock 180 degrees to stamp your 2nd Image.   You will also notice in the first image below you will see where the arrow is on my grid paper to show where you will place it if you want to add a 3rd color.

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS PROJECT 2:
  • Pool Party Card Base 4 1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 5 1/2″ or folded in half
  • Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Sentiment Pieces: Pool Party : 3 1/2″ x 1″. Basic White 3 1/4″ x 3/4″
  • Largest Scalloped Circle in Pool Party, Largest Regular Circle in Basic White from Layering Circles Dies

I absolutely had such a fun time coming up with different color combos I wanted to share below just a few.  I made the mistake and googled tie-dye color combos and my head went spinning.  These make amazing fun masculine birthday cards, kids birthday cards, teens, you name it.  Here are just a few fun color combos I came up with.

All

I sure hope you loved today’s project.  If you do not have a Stampin’ Demonstrator in the United States, I would love the opportunity to earn your business.  All products in today’s project are listed below.

If you have any questions on today’s project, please feel free to email me or leave a comment below.

Until Next Time, Happy Stamping

2021-2022 Luv to Stamp Annual Catalog Hop

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021-2022 Annual Catalog Inspiration Hop. We are so happy you are hopping along with us. The demonstrators participating in this Blog Hop were presenters at our new Stampin’ Up! catalog kickoff event for our team.

We wanted to make sure to share these beautiful projects with you all as well. We hope you gain new tips, techniques, and of course tons of inspiration. Once you are done with each post, don’t forget to keep hopping along by clicking on the next name in the list.

The project I presented showcased the adorable Party Puffins Stamp Set. I created what I call the Peek-A-Boo Slide Card.  I love this because the polka dot sleeve slides off for a hidden sentiment.

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS PROJECT 1:
  • Thick Basic White 4″ x 11″  (Note: This is a 1/4″ smaller than normal so it can slide in the sleeve) Scored at 5 1/2″  or Folded in Half
  • DSP 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/8″ and 8 1/4″ (This DSP is from the amazing packet found in the Hostess Section in your Catalog on pg 171)
  • Inside DSP Same Pattern 2 pieces cut at 4″x 5 1/4″

I used the 2nd Largest from the new Scalloped Contour to finish it off for the inside of the card.  Just simple enough to write that special message

Please enjoy all the amazing talent from the Luv 2 Stamp Group Demonstrators.  Simply Hop along by click on the next demonstrator’s name.

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year, we hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

I am so excited about this theme this month as I feel teachers really need some love after the past year we have all had. They all did a fantastic job pivoting for our children.  I have several friends that are teachers and thought it would be fun to make these adorable notepads.

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS

To create the Just Want to Say greeting for the front of this cover, I used the Art Gallery Dies from the Art Gallery Bundle.  Then I decided to bring in one of my favorite bundles Simply Succulents Bundle to use the perfect sentiment along with the stitched label.  Also, giving you a little sneaky peak I am showcasing one of the BRAND NEW 2021-2023 In -Colors. SOFT SUCCULENT.

The Soft Succulent Ink (#155778) and Cardstock(#155776) will be in the brand new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and available to order on May 4, 2021.

I am so excited to share with you one of my favorite stamp sets out of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  The Jar of Flowers Bundle.  I absolutely love the versatility of this bundle.  Sunflowers always make me smile and I thought it would be perfect to showcase for this month’s Earth Day theme.

I absolutely love using my Blends to color the Sunflowers. Sunflowers are perfect for shading. The Blend Colors I used are Mango Melody, So Saffron, Just Jade, Old Olive, and Cinnamon Cider.

Ice Cream Bundle – Ice Cream Corner

Today’s Project is the 3rd and final project in this Ice Cream Bundle Series. I love the simplicity of this popsicle card but also the fact that it is not your standard card when you look at it.

I absolutely love the versatility of this Bundle.  In my first project, I showed that the scoop made a fun Mickey and Minnie Project.  I also saw that this would be the perfect head for a Bear so I wanted to show you how fun and adorable this is.

To Create this cute bear head…….
  • Punched out a scoop image using Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
  • Using any 3/4″ circle punch or die will do to create a 2 – tone face.  But you can certainly draw his face directly as well.
  • Using this fun Ice Cream Corner DSP I punched out the cone from the Ice Cream Builder Punch and then used a 1/2″ Circle punch for the top of his party hat.

To learn how I created this project, please be sure to click on the video below.  This will take you through the step-by-step instruction.  I would love to have you subscribe to my channel and be sure to click that notification bell so you can be notified when a new video is posted.

Project Measurements:
  • Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ – Score at 4 1/4″ – Cut 1″ off front fold
  • Purple Posy 3 1/16″ x 5 3/8″
  • Stripe DSP from Ice Cream Corner DSP – 1 3/4″ x 5″ – Flag off End with Banner Triple Punch (Item #138292)
  • Highland Heather Scallop Layering Circle Die – LARGEST SCALLOPED DIE
  • Basic White Layering Circle Die – 2nd Largest Layering Circle.
